Site Location Advisory Services
Our site location advisory services are designed to assist companies with the selection of available existing buildings; greenfield or brownfield sites; or the construction or expansion of new facilities. We conduct our work in strict confidence, protecting our client’s identity and thereby preventing negative consequences that may arise from any premature or incorrect disclosures of the client’s intentions.
The below describes our location/siting services. Our rigorous three-phase process typically applies to any type of investment decision. Each phase serves as the foundation for subsequent phases. Garner Economics has created proprietary databases derived from published data sources, economic development agencies, past consulting projects, and our own in house collection and analysis of data conducted by our expert staff economist. This ability to collect and interpret data is core to the Garner Economics’ value proposition: helping our clients make the right investment decision.

As Regional President – Americas of Future Pipe Industries, I called on Jay and his staff to conduct a site search for a possible expansion we were analyzing for our North American manufacturing operations. The work of Jay and his team was meticulous with great follow-up on both sides of the project. They were extremely detailed, analytical and objective, yet offered a number of subjective views that only someone like Jay who has been on both sides of the fence would understand. In my experience of working for 30 years as a practitioner and then in the private sector, I really appreciated how he was able to relate to both the economic development professional, and to me, the corporate client.”
