Organizational Design & Analysis
Our approach will brief and train the staffs and volunteers of organizations and the elected officials involved in economic and community development on the science and art of enhancing their community, region, or state for potential investment. This engagement also builds the necessary “buy-in” among the participating stakeholders so that they fully support the implementation of initiatives or economic development strategies. As the former President and CEO of the Asheville, NC Chamber of Commerce, Jay Garner led the chamber in receiving the first quality award designation for a chamber of commerce using the national Malcolm Baldridge criteria (as awarded by the North Carolina Quality Foundation). He applies that knowledge to help economic development organizations staff themselves appropriately and fully leverage their elected and volunteer leaders.
Our work helping volunteers and elected officials understand the economic development process gets exceptionally high marks.
“Change can be a good thing, and the consultant’s report should be greeted with optimism for the new start it suggests. Forget the grain of salt and concentrate on enhancing the local economic development effort.”Editorial Board | Topeka Capital Journal | 12/12/2015
